Former Head Physical Therapist of Canada's Olympic Hockey Team
A graduate of the University of Toronto in 1985, Physical Therapist Terry Kane worked with over 500 Olympic and Professional athletes, held positions of Head Physical Therapist with Canada's Olympic Hockey Team as well as the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League. In addition to his clinical work, Terry has spoken at the American College of Sports Medicine; Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine, IDEA, CanFitPro as well is a peer reviewer for both the Physician and Sports Medicine and Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine. Terry currently writes and lectures internationally on exercise based rehabilitation and post-rehabilitative exercise.

In this session, Canadian Physical Therapist Terry Kane will describe strategies of engaging Chronic Pain patients in proper self-monitoring, good decision making, flare-up prevention planning and re-activating patients into functional exercise programs.

In this session Physical Therapist Terry Kane will describe the pathomechanics, treatment, rehabilitation and post rehab exercise protocols for common knee injuries including patellofemoral pain, meniscal injuries, cruciate and collateral ligament injuries.

Exercise for Golf Players - Injury Prevention & Rehab (Personal Training / Exercise Therapy)
In part one of this session, Terry will describe the anatomy, pathomechanics and risk factors of common golf injuries as well as exercise-based strategies to help prevent them in personal training clients.
In part two of this session Physical Therapist Terry Kane will describe the treatment, rehabilitation and post rehab exercise protocols for common golf related injuries including lower back pain, shoulder and arm injuries.
