Terence is a Sports Physiotherapist, currently serving as the Sports Physiotherapy Consultant at the Asian Fitness Therapy Center (AFTC) and the Program Director and Principal Lecturer at AASFP. Over the years, besides delivering Sports Physiotherapy and on field services to athletes, Terence has been actively educating fitness professionals at the Hong Kong University, HKU SPACE & City University (SCOPE) and undergraduate of Physiotherapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since 1999, Terence has been invited to present in various international fitness conferences. In 2007, Terence was invited to be the guest host of the Health and Fitness Radio programs on Metro Finance FM104 and Metro Info FM997. To further promote the healthy lifestyle, Terence starts editing a book series in Fitness, and the first chapter “Steps to Fitness” was published in March 2008.

Being the trainer of adidas, yoga instructor of China National table-tennis team and Kryoga Master Trainer in China, Lin Min has been promoting the benefits of yoga and learning yoga in places such as India, Thailand and Hong Kong since 1993. Lin Min’s lucid and powerful teaching style has made her extremely popular among students whereby her bilingual classes have brought her students from 26 different countries. She frequently contributes articles and provides practical demonstrations on Yoga for professional magazines, newspapers and television programs. Her program namely adilibria is well received in Asia.

We often use various practicing methods by the aids of different tools to strengthen and enrich the contents in practice. But we all have one body only! In fact, it is the prime tool of doing exercise. We know that each body is different. Thus, it is crucial that PT to have sound knowledge about how to implement various body arrangements correctly in the training. This session will illustrate to you about the effective training approaches with the integration of the scientific knowledge of anatomy and the wisdom of yoga.

Yoga x PT Series 2: Solutions for Back Injuries (PT - Special Populations / Injury Prevention and Management) Personal Trainers & Yoga Instructors are welcome
The causes of back injury are complicated but it often exists in practice. In this session, presenters will examine and share with you about the common causes and possible consequences of back injury. They will also provide different solutions, which integrating the knowledge of anatomy with the wisdom of yoga, to solve the problems.
